Nick Baober DJ/Producer: Nick began his musical career when he was 15, playing base guitar in his own band. In 1991 a big interest for dance music was growing and he fell in love with house, bought his own set of decks and started mixing. After continued practice and receiving positive feedback from his mix tapes(yes tapes i am that old), he started to get gigs in Cardiff & Bristol clubs and underground raves. His musical journey has been taking him on and off djing over the years, also being a hairdresser it's been a tug of war between both carers but in 2002 he seriously started to play again and is now definitely here to stay! His cutting edge style and impeccable taste in music has made sure that Nick is always classed as one of the favourite djs of the scene. Nicks talent behind the decks and fearless risk taking in his mixing has made sure his dj CV contains the best clubs in and around London (Throb, random people, pushca, bambina, wicked, the cross, club 24, white house, nyc jam, loads of others to many to list), and summer 2008 he was djing out in Ibiza for the whole summer @ Guarana & private villa parties. Nick has played most styles of music over the years from early House through to Electro, but it's Deep Dirty funky electronic House that is the main influences running through his sets. His sets never fail to impress the crowd, nick says ; there is nothing like playing you favourite tunes and seeing the dance floor go crazy thats what djing is all about working the dance floor into a steaming jumping shoulder to shoulder moment of happiness. He is now back in the uk and wales and are preparing to set up a new night in Cardiff so keep your eyes open.
